High-viscosity ultrasound gel improves transmission of ultrasound waves. It enables better contact between the patient and the ultrasound machine, for uniform, high-quality images. Its fragrance-free, skin-friendly formulation is also designed to preserve the integrity of ultrasound probes regularly exposed to contact gels or disinfectants.

Krystal EDM sterile gel is suitable for all ultrasound, surgical and other invasive procedures with a high risk of cross-contamination. It is recommended to use a disinfection solution validated by ultrasound machine manufacturers before applying the gel to the ultrasound machine.
